Source: ‘Gods of Egypt’ Heading for Epic Box Office Flop
Who could have guessed it ? Besides everybody . This year’s Clash of Titans is tanking at the box-office. Not surprising after the early reviews slammed it hard, and one could imagine that it is also part of the ongoing public outrage over Hollywood whitewashing , and lack of diversity .
The most positive line i’ve read about the film is this : “if you’re under 13 years old, or chemically-enhanced, you just might have a blast.”
It seems that isn´t gonna get moviegoers to spend their cash however, as the rated R superstar Deadpool looks to retain the number 1 spot this weekend. Poor Gerard Butler……. Speaking of which, he has another actioner coming out next weekend with London Is Falling . Could Deadpool *reign* on Butler’s parade again. Will the headlines read London Is Failing ?? We shall see. One thing looks certain though. The hopes of a franchise for this “Gods” movie is looking none too likely. And that’s not a bad thing.
Egypt so white.
This looks like utter rubbish. Im talking serious TRANK here. A gold plated turd.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau , and Gerard Butler star in this lame abortion , presumably inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt ( I expect riots and embassy burnings when the Egyptians see it )
Directed by Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City), the film also stars Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton and Geoffrey Rush. Gods of Egypt is set to flop hard starting February 26th
Honestly people. Go see Triple 9 instead. Or Eddie The Eagle .
Directed by Alex Proyas the film stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ,Gerard Butler ,Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton and Geoffrey Rush (who i am assuming is buying a new beach house )
Gods of Egypt will actually be released in theaters on February 26, 2016.
Lionsgate UK has released the international London Has Fallen trailer.
The sequel to 2013’s Olympus Has Fallen again stars Gerard Butler as Secret Service agent Mike Banning alongside Aaron Eckhart as the President of the United States ( LOL ) . Also returning are Morgan Freeman as the guy who explains the plot, Angela Bassett as whatever she can get, and Melissa Leo as Defense Secretary Ruth McMillan. Babak Najafi directs the shit from a screenplay by Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt , Christian Gudegast and Chad St. John. Christ they have enough writers don´t they……
Reprising their roles in support are Robert Forster as General Edward Clegg, Sean O’Bryan as NSA Deputy Director Ray Monroe, and Radha Mitchell as Leah Banning. Joining the returning cast members are Jackie Earle Haley, Alon Aboutboul, Charlotte Riley, and Waleed Zuaiter.
Gramercy Pictures will release London Has Fallen in domestic theaters on January 22, 2016. You know. January. when all the best films are released……
