The prestigious Golden Raspberry Awards have unveiled their nominations for the 37th annual awards ceremony. Leading the nominations are Zoolander 2 , and Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice with 9 and 8 noms respectively. See the full list below :
Every year around this time It starts again. The studios send out their screeners in hopes that they will get the award votes. And each year these screener copies find their way online. And it is a happy time for cinephiles everywhere.
I must admit, I had given up on the Hollywood Silly Season leaks. Because every year for at least ten years back, there has always been a leak before December 16th. You probably remember last year’s spree of screeners released by the Hive-CM8 group. Oh what a time it was.
Later it was alleged that the leak came from the talent agency Innovative Artists which was later sued by Warner Bros.
This year, however, things have been completely dead on the screener front. Many have been sent out off for review, but the first have yet to leak to the public……
The nominations for next year’s Golden Globes are inn. Im dumbfounded that Anthony Hopkins was not nominated for his performance in WestWorld, but regardless of that snub I will have a crack at picking the winners based on absolutely nothing.
WestWorld has by far been the best thing to come out of the SHIT year that has been 2016. And Im not talking just TV. I know there were some blockbuster movies like BOO ! A Madea Halloween, but I put WestWorld even above that masterpiece of cinema. Now, with one episode remaining I will endeavour to decode the bicameral system which has caused so much head scratching, youtube videos, and blog posts.
I got to see the latest feature film from Marvel Studios tonight. And I can say that the latest entry to the ever-widening Marvel Cinematic Universe was greatly entertaining , and a really fun time at the cinema.
The BMW film series “The Hire” was a series of eight short films (averaging about ten minutes each) produced for the Internet in 2001 and 2002. A form of branded content, the shorts were directed by popular filmmakers including Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Ang Lee; Joe Carnahan, Wong Kar-wai, Guy Ritchie, John Woo and the late John Frankenheimer and Tony Scott .
Clive Owen starred as “the Driver” in these shorts, and now he returns for “The Escape”.
I am having a real terrible feeling about the upcoming season 4 of Agents of Shield. In the past seasons they have really reduced some major Marvel characters from badass to worthless, and I fear that this will happen again.
